Food for puppies

These puppies are good eaters.

Our puppies are fed twice a day with a snack at lunchtime. You can of course adjust this but keep them on at least two feeds a day until about five months.

  • No sugar
  • No cooked bones
  • Raw mince, any mince but not pork. Small chunks of raw meat, Jumbo’s from supermarket is fine.
  • Whizzed raw vegetables (important) pumpkin, carrot, silverbeet, broccoli, cauliflower, peas, garlic,
  • No potato onion or tomato.
  • Apples
  • Good quality Frozen raw meats from pet stores.
  • Biscuits – Grain free Royal Canine - Acane - Addiction or similar good quality.
  • Large Raw bones • No Chocolate – toxic to dogs Their diet should be varied – table scraps are fine but not too much bread – keep wheat intake to a minimum.

Always have drinking water available at all times.
